France, Hérault, nature

late April at Pic de Vissou (1/3)

On Sunday afternoon we decided to go to a local (well, it takes us 30 mn to go there by car) favorite spot named "Pic de Vissou". Despite the draught that is already & very sadly current over here, Nature is at its best right now. Lavandula stoechas (Spanish/French/topped lavender) & Cytisus scoparius (scotch broom) were in full bloom & gave quite a show !

It'd been quite a while since we hadn't been out in Nature (boy do I deplore that myself) and it did us so good. We got caught in a spring shower though, ah !
