Hana - or my slow return to making

I don't know if I needed to write it down in this blog (last Friday) in order to unblock my creative mojo, but all I know is that I've spent the last two days making. Slowly, but making nontheless. I'm so happy I could cry. Let's say I'm crying inside !

"Hana",  花 in Japanese, means "flower". Inspired by a beautiful Japanese fabric I bought last year, and by another Japanese fabric (hemp leaf pattern, named "Asanoha"), I have cut, sewn, embroidered & assembled these two coasters.

In the morning sun, they looked extra delicate & sweet. Did I mention that there are golden details ? Look !

You can find the coaster set {here}. There shall be other wares in this fabric combination ... time will tell. (and I will tell you !)

Thanks for your visit, have a beautiful middle of the week !
