refreshed visual identity

Cozy Memories, hand carved stampsCozy MemoriesComment

I promised to be back here more regularly, and I’m trying to stick to it. Blogging is a habit I’ve lost along the months. It requires a bit more time & manipulations but I think it’s worth it. I hope you’re still here, or will be back.

We moved clocks backwards this past night, and the weather also changed from summer to winter, I am not kidding, in the matter of three days. It was sunny & 25°C last Thursday, and it’s rainy & 12°C today on Sunday. That’s southern France for you !

Anyway. I’ve stopped here today not for talking about the weather but for showing you the logo stamp I’ve carved this morning, since I’ve refreshed Cozy Memories visual identity (first with the logo itself) :

It’s far from perfect but I’ve learned to accept the flaws of things in general, including the things I make. I’m not a robot !

I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. It’s raining, hubby’s home, and we’re planning to play some board games with a cup of cider soon. Perfectly autumnal, blissful !

new heart ornaments

Cozy Memories, shop updateCozy MemoriesComment

Before I get started about how ackward it feels to pick up the blog after over five months of neglecting it, please allow me to introduce you to the last two heart shaped ornaments that just went straight to the shop …

I made them with all my heart & they are made of naturally (dip) dyed linen & cotton, or naturally dyed silk threads for the embroidery, of hemp twine for the hoop, and of organic cotton stuffing for the filling. They are sold individually, and have different prices because they are not exactly the same size.

As I said in a previous post, hubby’s now working 1000km away from home, and undeniably, this has shaken up our summer holidays & our way to go back to school & to new routines. We’re now pretty much settled but it’s been a challenge on many levels, as much for the boys & for me, as for hubby himself, being alone over there.

Anyway, finding my way back to creativity in this pretty mess was another big challenge of mine. But apparently, I’m seeing the end of the tunnel. Or at least I hope so.

I’m not sure anyone now visits my blog … but if you do, please say hello so that I can be aware of your visit ! I promise to be back more regularly … I have so much to catch up with !

With love,

Sonia

FLORA pincushions

botanical inspiration, Cozy Memories, embroidery, natural dyeing, shop updateCozy Memories

Three new pincushions were just added to the shop. They are made of naturally dyed fibers exclusively, stuffed with organic cotton, and are so dainty & charming, specially together !

It'll be forever spring in your craftroom with one of these by your side !

The floral motif I embroidered with naturally dyed silks, is inspired by a stamp I had hand carved many years ago.

They can be found (they are available seperately) over here in the SHOP, where you will get much more informations about them, and where there are different photos.

Have a beautiful rest of your weekend. Thank you so kindly for your visit !

With love,

Sonia
