I can’t believe it’s already the middle of May ... how is it even possible ? In a month, over here, it’ll be exam season, fo both my teen boys. So we’re quite entering a pretty busy season ... Then early July, it’ll be school holidays, until early September, even hubby will be on holidays (3 week in July, then 3 weeks in August)

We managed to squeeze a little moment out this past weekend (which was spent half the time for our eldest exam movie..) , during which hubby & I picked a dyeing material (but I can’t talk about it now, sorry), well actually two of them ! I hope to make a return to natural dyeing, it’s been so so long, way too long ...

The weather these days is rather pleasant temperature speaking, but we’ve been having nasty nasty winds for days and days, weeks actually. We can’t enjoy the swimming pool just yet, while last year I was already swimming ! But sleeping well at night and not being boiling hot all the time is something I deeply appreciate !! So no complaint from me !!!

I’m sticking to the schedule I created last week, and managed t work out 4 times last week (see my previous post), as planned ! Feeling proud of myself, and happy my simple plan works !

Gotta go now, but I wish you a great week ahead ! Thank you for stopping by today !

With love,
xoxo

happy equinox (+ rosemary desktop wallpaper)

Happy equinox everyone, may it be Spring one or Autumn one ! (if you live in the southern hemisphere)

We bought a couple of flowers yesterday & sowed our very first seeds of the season, yay ! This spring, I went for cherry tomatoes (again), cosmos flowers (again), pink ipomoeas (I hope they'll make more leaves & cover more than the Morning Glories), and zinnias, which I hope will thrive !

Our Japanese maple, after a difficult summer, is making buds & leaves again. Phew. The buds are just starting to unfurl, they are so adorable & touching to see :

The rosemaries are in full bloom (I plan to have more, because it does well in the heat, and keep their leaves all year around, which is fantastic !), which is lovely to see.

This last photo above is available as Desktop Wallpaper in the Goodies section of the site. I hope you'll enjoy as much as I enjoy having it in my garden !

Have a lovely day ! Thank you for your visit today !

With love,

summer trip 2017 // 7

Happy Saturday everyone ! Today I'll be sharing more summery-feeling photos, which is pretty normal since they were taken in the heart of summer ! I need to finish posting photos about our summer trip soon because I feel completely not in synch with the current season ! LOL

I took these photos just a hundred of meters away from the house we were renting. It was all so beautiful at this time of year !

This field of clover (I think it was a type of clover) was sooooooo fragrant, it was amazing. It smelled so honey-like ! Transporting. An olfactive memory of our summer trip.

Only this last photo was taken in the garden of the house. They grow naturally blue, the soil must be acidic. We can't grow them this blue where we live, even if adding something extra acidic.

I could lose my mind in this blue .... mmm. Leaving you today on this little bit of natural magic ... have a great weekend !
